ASP technology functions best with dynamic web page construction.
There are various versions of ASP technology, for example ASP 3.0. I shall use ASP 3.0 in all examples of web hosting technology because it is one of the more commonly used versions of ASP. Before choosing the best web hosting service, we should understand what web hosting means.
A web-hosting provider is a company that keeps sites on servers with permanent connection to the internet. Usually, these servers have very large hard disks, strong processors, lot of memory and a very fast connection to the internet. By using such services, you will free yourself from worrying about complicated server maintenance and technology.
Features Offered #
First, you have to make a list of features required by your site, to make it running. The most important ones of them is the disk space. Nowadays, many of the best web hosting services includes at least 20-80GB for a regular account. However, there are also many companies offering just 1GB for the same price. If you do not compare the prices and the features lists before buying a web hosting service, you may fall into the trap.
Bandwidth size is another important parameter of any web-hosting plan. In order to find how much bandwidth you need, you have to multiply the average size of a page of your site with the number of page views per month. This way, you will obtain the actual bandwidth consumed by your site, but should buy more bandwidth if your site is growing.
Other important features are connected with the access to the scripting languages, to the database management system or to the email server. You should check if the web hosting services includes these features at the parameters required by your site.
Customer support #
You cannot say that you found the best web hosting service until you receive answers to your questions in less than 3 hours. Just imagine how much money you would loose if you had a very important site and the server crashed, but nobody cares because this happened during the weekend. In order to avoid this kind of web hosting providers, you should read some reviews written by other customers and independent media, and to check if there are phone numbers, e-mail addresses and geographic addresses displayed on the web-hosting provider’s contact us page.
Popularity and money-back guarantee #
The easiest way to discover the best web hosting service is to find some publications featuring a list of the top most popular web-hosting providers. A company with millions of satisfied customers will do the best for your site. However, not all of the popular providers are good. This top-list is changing every month and you should not be surprised if the best provider is on the 5th place after a month.
If you have already bought web-hosting services from a company, but you are not satisfied with their quality, or your site is not running at all, then you should receive your money back. The best web hosting service should include a money back guarantee for at least one month.

You can be highly successful in every aspect of SEO and still fail to make sales or profit if you do not properly understand your demographic.
You can rank at the top of Google for highly competitive keyword or key phrase but it will do you absolutely no good if this is not something that your target demographic will look at. You can even master all of the SEO techniques needed to hit the top spots for the right keywords and key phrases and you will still fail if you do not fully understand your target demographic and cater to them. This article will teach you how to better understand your target demographic in order to succeed.
The first thing that you need to know is what your target demographic is looking for specifically. The most important part of SEO for any website is to target the right search terms. This is why you need to look closely at your target demographic and do keyword research thoroughly in accordance with their search habits. You want the top spots in search engine rankings were for the terms that they use most often when looking for your product or a website in your niche. After you’ve completed your keyword research is important to use your SEO knowledge to optimize a series of different webpages so that you have one catering to each specific keyword. This will help you to rank well for all the different keywords that your target demographic commonly uses.
The next thing that you need to do, when it comes to understanding your target demographic, is to get into their heads. You probably never thought that SEO was a psychological game as well but it is. From the minute that they see your webpage in the search engine results you need a title and description that sells you as the website that they are searching for. All of the SEO in the world is completely useless if you’re not capable of putting in a few catchy lines that bring your target demographic to your website.
The best way to do this is to simply put yourself in their shoes and think about, from their point of view, what exactly it is that they want to get out of a website when searching for the keyword or key phrase that they have entered. Then the next step is to simply make your title and description present the fact that this is exactly what your website offers. One of the most crucial aspects of SEO is actually getting your user to click from the search engine through to your website.

Many people who have websites focus heavily on the aspect of backlinks, or external links. These same people will often spend enormous amounts of time and effort on on-site SEO such as keywords and META tags but rarely do they focus even the slightest bit of attention on internal links. Internal links are very important for optimizing your website to rank better in search engines for a number of different reasons. Learn how to properly optimize the internal links of your website to reap the SEO benefits.
There are two main reasons why properly optimized internal links are so important. The first of these being to get your website indexed. If the internal pages of your website are not all linked together then Google, and other search engines, may have a difficult time knowing that they exist at all. Having every page indexed in search engines allows your sub pages with different keywords to bring in traffic directly to them. Missing out on internal linking means that you are missing out on traffic; this flows into the second reason why it is important to optimize your website’s internal links which is for key words. Although your main website may be optimized for keywords that you are targeting it is quite possible that you have many sub pages on your website that target different keywords. Having these pages linked together allows Google to determine the topic matter of these sub pages, if you use proper anchor text, which will allow you to rank many times over many different keywords in search engine results.
Now that you understand why it is so important to optimize your website internal links it is time to figure out just how to go about it. The most important thing is a relevant anchor text. Once you have this element tackled the next most important thing is to ensure that your internal links appear on every single webpage of your website. The easiest way to do this is to add a piece of site wide code, such as a sidebar or footer, which contains all of your internal pages linked with relevant anchor text. This is about all there is to properly optimizing your website internal links; you just have to keep a few other things in mind.
First you must realize that the search engines will not spider or count internal links in JavaScript. This means if you decide to incorporate your links into a sidebar make sure it is in plain text and not fancy JavaScript. The next thing to realize is that while Google has the ability to read text within flash it will not indexed links found in flash. Basically you need to leave your internal links on your website in a dull text format to reap the maximum SEO benefits of internal linking.

SEO (search engine optimization) is a very powerful yet complicated technique. It is very effective is you know how to, and understand how to do it properly. If you have a great web site, but your key words are too broad, or not broad enough, your trafficking will be little to none. If your key words have been used a lot then your site might appear on the fourth page or so. You need to choose your words very carefully, and use more then one strategy to achieve the most money and the highest ranking.
Hopefully this will help you recognize if your marketing strategies are working. If not, you will not be able to take the steps you need to moving forward, and trying something new.

No matter what product or service you sell on the Internet article marketing is one of the best sources not only for sales but also for providing fresh and unique content which helps you rank better in search engines. There are, however, a few things that you need to do in order to succeed with article marketing. Learn the best article marketing strategy here and start making some serious money.
The first place to start is within the article itself. Whatever article you write should display a few key attributes.
The most important thing is that every article is 100% unique, not only will you be unable to submit your article to article directories such as Ezine and GOArticles but you won’t be able to rank as well in search engines either. The next thing that you need to focus on is keywords. Do your research, each article should be built around a key phrase that not only targets your demographic but also has a decent number of searches with a minimum of competition. You should use your key phrase as the title of your article and a few times throughout the article as well, this will help you to rank well for this key phrase in Google. The next thing that you need to keep in mind is that you are trying to pull in your reader to make a sale here. The best strategy for this is to provide some great information but not all of it. Leave something essential out and then at the end of your article put in a call to action which promises that your product will provide them with this missing, and very crucial, piece of information.
The next thing that you need to do is to decide where to use your article. The best strategy for this is to write multiple articles. Put some of them in an article directory, such as Ezine Articles, and put the rest on your own website. This way you can use the articles, that you submitted to directories, for backlinks because they rank well with little work. You can use the articles on your own website to help your sales website rank better as more fresh and unique content is a factor that Google uses when determining positioning.
The final thing that you need to do is to get your articles noticed. Be sure to submit each article to social bookmarking websites and throw a backlink or two at them. Since you did your keyword research a few backlinks should be all that it takes to put your article at the top of Google. Now you have some great exposure through high quality articles, which target your demographic, and are visible in search engines. These articles are one of your best weapons in your sales arsenal, just rinse and repeat.

Search engine optimization is the process of setting up a website to hopefully rank well in the search engines. These days most SEO is focused on Google, because Google has the largest search engine market share.
Search engines are a great source of targeted traffic. When someone goes to Google and types in ‘Bose headphones’, chances are they are either ready to buy some Bose headphones, or they are at least researching a potential purchase at some point in the future. This is targeted traffic.
Targeted traffic means visitors who are looking specifically for whatever it is you are selling or offering. This is exactly the type of traffic every website should strive to get. Untargeted traffic may often be available in much larger quantities, but it will consume a lot of bandwidth for very little return on your investment.
Targeted traffic, on the other hand, will usually be in lesser quantities, but it will convert much better.
If you want to get more targeted traffic from search engines, there are a few things you can do.
1. Target the right keywords # Yes, targeting ‘free mp3s’ might bring you a lot of traffic, but it’s unlikely they are going to buy anything. Unless you are promoting a CPA offer that actually has free mp3s, you’re better off targeting keyword phrases such as ‘buy Beatles mp3s’. You wouldn’t get as much traffic, but the quality would bring you a much greater return on your investment.
2. Link to your site with anchor text # Anchor text is the text that is linked to another web page or site. The anchor text that points to a page is weighed rather heavily in its search engine ranking. If most of the links to your site say ‘click here’, but your keyword phrase is ‘antique cars’, you’d probably be more likely to rank for ‘click here’ than you would for ‘antique cars’! Use related keyword phrases to link back to your site whenever possible.
Analyze your competition to see where they are getting their backlinks, how many they have, and what their anchor text is. Then try to copy their tactics, while improving upon them. Your best chance to outrank your competition is to do what they do, but do it better!

SEO is a complex topic with hundreds of subtle nuances that make it confusing for newbies, but if you can get four critical aspects right, you’ll still have a very good chance of ranking well for all but the most competitive keywords.
It’s true that expert SEO is very difficult to learn. It’s also true that it can take months or years to get a site to rank well for very competitive keywords. But anyone can take these four simple techniques and start getting rankings for less competitive keywords in no time flat!
1. Choose the right keyword phrases.
Don’t go after extremely competitive keywords, because you’ll never be able to compete. Even sites with thousands of dollars in SEO budget funds can’t compete on many of the most competitive keywords. You should choose phrases that are less competitive, but still have a moderate amount of traffic. These are called long-tail keywords, and ranking well for hundreds or thousands of these phrases can equal or even exceed the traffic of a single highly-competitive keyword!
2. Get your title right.
Your title should have two different 2-4 word keyword phrases in it. It’s best if you optimize each page of your site for no more than two keyword phrases, because you can seriously dilute your results and end up ranking for nothing if you try to optimize for too many. It’s better to build more pages if you have more phrases to target.
3. Get keyword-rich, high-quality backlinks.
Make sure the anchor text used to link to you contains one of the keyword phrases you are trying to target, but don’t always use the same text. You should always vary the anchor text.
4. Don’t overdo your keyword density.
A density between 1% and 5% is generally the best choice. If possible, check your top 10 competitors for your main keyword phrase to see what their density is, then try to emulate that. But don’t sacrifice the quality of your writing for the sake of keyword density.
It’s also important to keep in mind that you can over-optimize your site, too. Using every single “perfect” element of SEO can set off red flags that could cause you to suffer a penalty.
It’s best to make your site look completely natural. Don’t make every element of your site conform perfectly to “normal” SEO standards. Don’t get thousands of backlinks all using the exact same anchor text. And be sure to grow your links naturally. The instant Google smells SEO on your site, you’re doomed for a potential penalty that could cause your site to suffer for months.

There are thousands of SEO services out there that range from large, professional companies to individuals who claim to be SEO experts because they read a couple of outdated books on SEO. How can you separate the professionals from the wannabes to find the best of the best?
The first thing you should do is look for feedback and reviews about anyone you’re thinking of hiring. A small amount of negative feedback is expected, because no one can please 100% of their customers for very long… unless of course they have only a handful of customers! But if a company or individual has an overwhelming or unusually large percentage of negative feedback, you might want to avoid them.
Next, look for a guarantee. While it’s good for an SEO company to have a satisfaction guarantee, watch out for companies that claim they can guarantee you a top 10 ranking or a #1 ranking. No one can guarantee a top 10 ranking for an extremely competitive keyword, so these guarantees are misleading.
When an SEO company guarantees a top 10 or #1 ranking, they are either talking about long-tail phrases that are easier to rank for, or they are dishonest. Either way, make sure to ask them to clarify what they mean before you hire them. If they claim they can get you a #1 position for ‘books’ or ‘cars’, run away!
Another important thing you can do is check to see if their website ranks well for phrases related to SEO. While it would be difficult for any new SEO company to break into the top 10 for the keyword ‘SEO’, they should at least be able to rank for phrases such as ‘seo expert’, ‘seo consultant’, or ‘website seo’.
Some fake SEO experts will claim they spend most of their time optimizing sites for clients and don’t have time to properly SEO their own site. You should always avoid people like this. Any SEO expert worth their salt will spend time on their own website, even if only to serve as proof for potential clients that they know what they’re doing.
There are a lot of people who try to claim SEO expert status, but very few who can actually deliver on the promise. You should always research anyone you’re thinking of hiring carefully before you hire them. Someone who isn’t well-versed in SEO could actually do more harm to your rankings than good!

Choosing the right keywords for your SEO campaigns is extremely important. If you don’t target the right keywords, everything you do could be in vain. If you are targeting keywords that are either too competitive or get too little traffic, it is unlikely that you will get much traffic from the work you put into your SEO.
The most important thing I can tell you about choosing keywords is that you are unlikely to ever find a keyword tool that is as accurate as it needs to be. Even Google’s own free keyword toll is incredibly inaccurate, as it reflects not only searches performed on Google and the search network, but also includes data from the content network, as well.
Other keyword tools like WordTracker and KeywordDiscovery can be even less accurate for finding keyword phrases, but are often more realistic in terms of traffic. The traffic numbers found in the Google keyword tool are often highly inflated, but the totals in other tools are often grossly understated.
The trouble is, tools like WordTracker can’t get their data directly from Google. Instead they get it from lesser-known and less popular sites like Dogpile or Metacrawler. These sites have only a very small fraction of the traffic that Google has. That means you would have to multiply this traffic by many times to equal the traffic that Google has.
Not only that, but the keywords many of them deliver are often out of sequence, and sometimes they don’t make a lot of sense. Many keyword tools don’t take plurals into account. A lot of them will put the words in alphabetical order, so you have to sort them out in order to get them to make sense. They can be difficult to work with.
I like to use free keyword tools, because the vast majority of paid tools pull their information from free tools, anyway. I just ignore the numbers for the most part, and I concentrate on the phrases themselves. I look at the numbers to get a general idea of whether a phrase has potential, and nothing more.
Next, I make sure the phrases don’t have a lot of competition. I search Google for each phrase in quotes to see how many sites contain that exact phrase. Those are my real competition. If that number is under 1,000,000 I know I have a decent shot at ranking on the first page. If the number is under 100,000, I know I can almost certainly rank on the first page.
These phrases that have decent traffic and little competition are the phrases you should be using. Any phrases with more than 1,000,000 results are far too competitive to even try until your site already has massive authority status.

SEO isn’t really as difficult as a lot of people make it out to be. You can easily rank well for less competitive phrases just by following the most basic SEO principles and writing quality content. But if you want to rank for moderately competitive or competitive phrases, you need to be sure you’re not making these serious mistakes.
1. Over-optimization : This can be this kiss of death of an otherwise well-done SEO campaign. If you try to follow every common SEO rule to the letter, it could make your site look unnatural and contrived.
2. Keyword stuffing : Many years ago this tactic worked extremely well. These days, putting the same keywords over and over in your content or meta tags will do little but get you banned. Be very careful not to use the same keywords too many times. Watch out that your keyword density never rises above 6-10%.
3. Duplicate content : While you may not be banned for having duplicate content, having it on your site is going to make it much harder to rank well. With a lot of backlinks, you might be able to get duplicate content ranked well. But it’s much easier to get unique content on the first page than it is to get duplicate content there.
4. Getting backlinks anywhere you can : Backlinks are great, yes, but only when they come from quality sites. More importantly, those quality sites should be on the same topic as your own site, or at least something similar.
5. Using the same anchor text for every backlink : You should get backlinks with a variety of similar phrases. You want to have a fairly even distribution between a few different variations. Always include your main keyword phrase, but vary it a bit. This way it looks more natural to the search engines.
The bottom line is making sure you always appear as natural as possible to the search engines. Using duplicate content, repeating keywords over and over, getting thousands of backlinks from unrelated sites… these things don’t look natural. You wouldn’t have gardening sites and beauty sites linking to a dog training site naturally, at least not in mass quantities. You probably wouldn’t have the same exact phrase 15 times in a natural article.
Quality content that appears natural in every way possible is the perfect way to get great rankings. Concentrate more on pleasing your visitors and the SEO with mostly take care of itself.
